About
Inspire Edu – Modern Teaching Methods for Higher Education is an international project funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA) under the Strategic Partnerships programme (project no. BPI/STE/2023/1/00001). It brings together experienced university teachers and experts in teaching and learning from Gdańsk University of Technology, the University of Sussex, and Hochschule Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences.

At the heart of the project, you will find an interactive catalogue of teaching methods designed to help university teachers quickly find practical ideas for their classes. Methods can be explored according to different teaching needs, contexts, and learning goals, making the catalogue a practical tool for everyday teaching.
The platform also offers videos about teaching and learning, practical downloadable resources, and free e-book The Great Book of Teaching Methods. You can also watch an educational film inspired by the TEDx Beyond Theory conference, featuring interviews with educators about the challenges of teaching in a rapidly changing world.
Have a teaching method or idea worth sharing? Send it to us. We would love to discover new approaches and add selected ideas to the catalogue.
We warmly encourage you to explore, use, adapt, and share the resources available on the platform.
And finally, we are keeping our fingers crossed for university teachers everywhere. Teaching is changing, expectations are growing, and the job is not getting any easier — but the work you do matters. We hope Inspire Edu makes at least a small part of it easier.
